Seit mehr als drei Jahrhunderten gibt es die Lohnmosterei Schellhorn in Arnstadt. Die erste Thüringer Apfelweinkelterei bietet in "Schellhorns Restaurant & Bar" Apfelwein - von süß bis trocken. In der Küche findet der vergorene Apfelsaft ebenfalls Verwendung und rundet so maches Gericht geschmacklich ab. Der Weinhof ist ein idyllischer ruhiger Innenhof und die Gaststube ist mit ihrem rustikalen Ambiente ein gemütliches Plätzchen mitten in der historischen Altstadt von Arnstadt.

Es können diverse Programme rund um den "Apfel" gebucht werden, so z.B. eine Führung zum größten Weinfass Thüringens und anschließend werden Thüringer Wurstspezialitäten mit hausgemachtem Thüringer Apfelweinbrot gereicht. Guten Appetit.
